FS Executive was born out of the realisation that financial services companies need help in finding new talent in a new way.
When we first discussed setting up a boutique search firm, in early 2020, our starting point was: “Who would we have wanted to help us find talent when we were running a division of a global asset management business?”
Certainly not a traditional recruiter or an internal talent acquisition consultant!. Instead, we leverage our roles as specialist financial service professionals actively involved in various aspects of the industry across our core markets (read more). This enables us to provide the market insights, contacts and business perspective to source talent that fits with what individual clients want and need.
It wasn’t an obvious time to launch a business. However, within financial services globally, the global pandemic seems to have reinforced the need to find new solutions to existing problems – including ensuring the right people are in the right roles as business requirements and objectives evolve.
The COVID crisis also heightened awareness of the need to adapt the process of sourcing talent. The new post-pandemic normal in sourcing and matching talent is increasingly be border-less and, in some cases, contact-less. Broad acceptance – and necessity – of video and other technology can serve as effective tools going forward, such as for candidate interviews
It is amid these trends that we combined our half-a-century of direct financial services experience across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia – in conjunction with our extensive global network and research capabilities – to provide bespoke talent solutions to financial services clients.
